Barolo Bricco Pernice 2011 DOCG

Barolo Bricco Pernice, continuation of Elvio Cogno's story that began in La Morra, is part of the "Riserva di Elvio" as the sum expression of all the technical and stylistic teachings of the great master, father Elvio. A peculiar feature is the enveloping softness. Ruby color tending towards garnet, while intense notes of violet are perceived on the nose, accompanied by a hint of wet earth and ripe red fruit and finely hinted spices. On the palate it is harmonious and very structured with incisive but fine and sweet tannins.
